Summer Solstice

The longest day of the year started early for us, we headed to a baseball game, 10:30 pm was start time. It was cold but the company was good, we stayed until 1:30 am, there were no points so we biked home. The following pictures are around 2 am on the solstice, pretty good ah?

Big earthquake yesterday, everyone was talking about it, I was driving and didn't feel it or any of the after shocks, seems anyone in a building with more than 3 floors really, really felt it.

Today it is raining and cold, the cat wouldn't even go outside. As for me I am heading to Girdwood with Seth to check out the avalancher (gun that shoots dynamite into the snow above ski area to control avalanches) he engineered at the top of Mt. Alyeska, we get to either drive to the top or take the tram, it is a big day for the unemployed.
